A four hour power nap?

I wondered what happened to you!


Tomorrow I need to take Tasha to the Vet for her annual check-up and injections. She is extremely difficult to catch, so wish me luck in my attempts.

Need 4 hours as I worked so hard today

Good luck,been a while since either of my two have been to the vets,I remember one time the boy cat went he came out of the cat box like a bat out of hell,destroying the examination room,up onto the windowsill knocking everything onto the floor,me very embarrassed.

Tea and a mince pie going,oh sorry I forgot you're on a diet

Leo is very well behaved at the Vet. He is also easy to catch.



No thank you to the mince pie. , no really that is quite alright, you go ahead, if you must, if you really must.

Tesco have it on special offer so just bought 2 small tubs.
Have limited myself to 1 mince pie,my willpower is amazing

I like the "Divine" hot choc which Oxfam sell. It is the nearest to the sort of hot choc that I can get when on holiday in Austria. Ideally I make it with full fat milk, but these days with mostly hot water and a smidgeon of semi-skimmed milk.

For tea I had a home made balti vegetable and lentil connoction. So filling that I could not eat all of it.

Just cycle more then you have more pies .

By coincidence I'm on the hot chocolate tonight, a donated sachet of Canadian President's Choice which isn't bad, although I should be boycotting them as one of their drivers was a nasty piece of work and all but knocked a friend off her bike, sending her flying into the gravel .

Rice Pudding, surely....

Bit nippy today at work - fog this morning that never quite cleared, so the sun was tantalisingly sort-of visible all day, but generating no heat whatsoever.

Tea? I'm having a cup while I decide what to do with some Mattesons smoked sausage for dinner. It's a toss up between risotto and pasta.

Oh dear, I am in the doghouse!

Tasha was caught while being tempted with biscuits, and successfully placed in the cat basket. Do you remember me saying how she was usually very quiet?

Not once she was enclosed in the basket! I think that is what she was trying to say.
Once at the Vet, she was not too bad. Flu jab, Felipan wotsit jab, treatment for worms, and fleas.
Back home and she has sulked all evening.

10 hours!
That's what it has taken to change a plastic door for a wooden one!
I have to go back and finish it cos someone in the past though it would be ok to replace mortar with building foam to hold the bricks together and there's no lintle.

Time for tea.

It's funny how cats cry as if the vet is the worst thing in the world and dogs see it as a grand day out.

Leo is not at all bothered about being in the cat basket or going to the Vet. He is also very well behaved at the Vet's. Must be because he is older and wiser.
