I've seen that photo on YACF. At least today you're wearing a buff, and not in it...

(Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with that photo, but I think the tea room might be scandalised. Not to mention the womble).

There are two buildings opposite my window, and on one of them the snow has slipped and subsided downwards. There's an impressive overhang of several inches of the stuff, complete with icicles of Damocles.

It's got to go soon, and I have to keep looking out to see if it's still there....

I have been told today that the place I volunteer at on Fridays has an interior temperature similar to the outdoor temperature. The staff are occupying the Office and are reasonably toasty warm. Volunteers are advised to stay at home.

Hmm, creaking noises from overhead suggest I might see an avalance past the window instead..

We just popped down to the M-I-L's for a cuppa and top make sure she is ok.

Henry's not sure about the snow

But enjoyed his walk

Saw a shot on telly, of a two year old out with his Mum, walking, (Newcastle, I think), and it was up to his waist!

I doubt it, there's only the loft above me, and I'm fairly sure there's no one up there.

Hmm, well, it's been a few months since I put my head up through the hatch, but I'm pretty sure I'd know if they were there.

Just got some chicken out to defrost, I'm going to have a curry for dinner.

Not much snow here today.
There was about 2mm on the car this morning and I think it was only that much because the snow flakes had landed on edge. It may have just been frost though.

Never mind. It was quite a good curry.

We had a few flurries of snow today, but nothing of note.

Although apparently a 'Winter Wonderland' event in town was cancelled due to the weather....
