Evening all!
Well, that was more painless than I expected. Mum rang me last week and told me a terribly complicated thing about our joint AA membership (basically she pays it, but for some reason post was still addressed to me, and only I could alter that - it was more complicated the way she explained it
I may also have been surfing CC at the same time and not listening properly ). I tried ringing on Saturday but they were busy, so I did it just now expecting it to be terribly hard to explain.
But it wasn't, and it's all sorted now.

Now, for some dinner. I think tonight I'll do a sausage and stuff* risotto thing.
*onion, peppers, courgette, olives.

Been fiddling with the busted washing machine again today. After disassembling pretty much everything I found a connection had shaken loose. Bluddy design means to find that silly it takes an almost complete disassembly. Intelligent Design??? I am now knackered and will not reassemble till tomorrow sometime (after a bike ride first).

When I tried to mend the door catch on the washing machine, I successfully identified and ordered the correct spare part, and then another part of the machine failed due to brittleness of plastic. I was very surprised at that, the machine was only about twenty-seven years old.
I would like tea please. I have just finished completing my Tax return on line. The tax man owes me a very small amount of Tax and he (or she) likes me to use their complex computer system to do it. It is easier than the paper one, cos if you make a mistake, you do not need to try to cross things out neatly.
