I knew you meant cars, Arch. If you are a member, does membership cover any car you drive?

It should do yes, or if you're a passenger. But I don't need it, as I drive so rarely these days, and a hire car would have it's own cover.

You deserve tea after a tax return! Well done. What are you going to spend your windfall on?

We were discussing fundraising ideas at St Nicks today. One of the volunteers suggested a naked calendar.

Due to most banks and building societies giving an interest rate of 0.000003%, it is a very small amount. As a sensible type of person who can do sums, I have some Issas and Tessas, etc.

I did once win about £4,000 on the Lottery. I took friends out for meals and paid for some holidays with that.

I await a Premium Bond to win with the right number of zeros on it.

I'm off to put the kettle on. Anyone want Tea? I thought this might be a good accompaniment (sp?) to the new baking programme starting on BBC2. Avert your eyes if you're on a New Year diet.

Now, I don't know whether to be offended that you hear my words as 'blah', or impressed that you typed all those 'blahs'... ;)

I dunno if it'll happen. I said I'd be up for it, but that mean it was just me and Scott who suggested it - a bit samey. Also, I can pose discretely behind a recycling box, but would the conservation volunteers fancy naked bramble pruning?

Funny thing: As we were offloading boxes in the street (Me and 3 guys), a lady came up and whispered to me "Aren't you lucky, working with all those hunky guys!" And then scuttled off, embarrassed....

Find of the day in a bin store. A faux antique globe. And yes, it was also a drinks cabinet!

Intelligent, lovely voice, what more could you want?

A tool belt...

Anyway...

Time for bed I think.

I have just spent the best part of my evening chasing my mothers blooming chickens ( who look like little White clouds) round her garden so they can spend the night in their new and shiny chicken mansion! It's raining, i was wearing wellies 8 sizes too big so running was difficult so as usual farmyard animals are mocking me.
Now mother dearest wants ME to make her a cup of tea! Apparently directing me in the art of chicken herding from the backdoor step ( under cover) is thirsty work! worst of all I missed Harry and apparently men in uniform.

I like Silent Witness too, I especially like Emilia Fox ( for her acting ability of course)

Home, cold and a bit tired, no tea but a can of Pepsi Max instead, done well today only eaten around 1300 calories, a week of that should be a kickstart to the new year weight loss

Oh Daisy, you poor thing. Although I'm sorry, I laughed at the image...

Have a cup of tea yourself. You'll there's always a cup on the go in here, or feel free to put the kettle on if no one is here. Welcome to the forum.

Night Train, you may hold my box anytime.

Hang on, that sounds wrong.....

And on that note, I really am going to bed! Got an 8am start tomorrow!
