Just enjoyed a mug of tea and a diet bacon barm

lovely.

Been to Tesco and managed to avoid most of the 'goodies' but I did succumb to a packet of custard creams

they will be shared out later once the wol has gone to bed

Bike cleaning day today, that should burn off a few of last nights calories

So you stopped short of eating the whole barn then?

I will be absolutely discustard with you if you do that!

Have you two stopped fighting yet?

I've been out riding all day, and I'm knackered! A fair few hills, but at least one of them was down enough for me to touch 40mph....

Any tea?

Where did you get to Arch? 40 miles closer to catching me up

I'll make you a tea, I think Speicher is sulking

61 actually, unless you did any today...

Stamford Bridge, Bishop Wilton, Givendale, Millington, Huggate, Warter, Pocklington.

Lovely downhill into Pock, that's where I hit 40. My eyes were watering a bit!

Ah I saw the 40 and mistook that for distance, 61 is great and 40mph is very scary

Though Speicher doesn't know the meaning of 'fear' in fact she doesn't know the meaning of most words.
I'll catch that back up next Sunday when I do another Yorkshire ride

do the miles I have to walk uphill pushing the bike count?

Would you like a discustard cream with your tea?

I finished sewing my shorts today. Now ready for the summer.

I am trying to decide what to sew next. I have some trousers to take in at the sides, and strangely to shorten the length.

At the resource centre on Friday, they had some Winsor and Newton table easels. So I bought one for the princely sum of £4.50. They would normally be on sale in proper shops for five times that, this one just has a teensy scratch on one piece of wood, which I guess makes it "shop soiled".

Ta!

Yeah, 40 is a bit swift, especially when you're only about 6 inches off the ground! But three wheels make it nice and stable, and it was a pretty straight road with good sight lines. I'd like to try again to beat 40, which was already my best speed ever...

I wish I'd checked what speed I reached on the last Colinj ride, it must have been similar but with wind and rain trying to blow us into the hedges

I have a hill I do every commute where I can get to 32ish without really pedalling, but there are a few side streets leading off it, have to be very aware of cars pulling out.
