It could be tricky to take a shower in a vest.

All the water would pour out of the armholes, and the neckline. Using a shower cubicle makes the process slightly easier. ;)

Of course, the Tea? thread appears to be a comfy arena of chitchat and hot beverages, but underneath it's a seething hotbed of passion. I've been secretly shacked up with one of the teatowels for months....

Phew,it's getting a bit steamy in here. I thought someone had left the kettle on!

Speicher - that's why I always bathe in a vest and I keep a tin of Kendal mint-cake on a string around my neck. Be prepared! :becool:

It was mentioned a few days back Uncle Mort

What's that joke in the Pink Panther films?

He asks for a rhhuum in ze Hotel, and is told he can have one with a bath or one with a shower. Then he asks what is the difference. He is told that "In ze showeer you estand yup, and in ze bath.."

I was once staying somewhere when the fire alarm went off.

I was in the shower at the time, and had just washed my hair. Standing outside at 6pm on a very cold evening in November, just with a not-very-big towel wrapped around you is not something that I can recommend.

And yes, it did get very boring, over the following few days, when people kept saying that they did not recognise me with my clothes on.

When I was working at a homeless family hostel on night shift there was a real fire, a minor one in the communal tumble dryer. Everyone had to be evacuated and that meant a lot of people standing outside on a late October night wearing very little. The Dads, wearing boxers, and the kids were really keen on getting back inside but a quite a few of the Mums weren't at all bothered due to the appearence of three fire engines an their crews.

Yes, now you mention it, Night Train, yes I vaguely remember the Firemen.

In another job, I used to take people with learning disabilities to swim in the pool at the Fire College, in Moreton in Marsh. The only thing better than Firemen in their uniform, is Firemen in their swimming cossies.

I was carried down a ladder by a fireman once. Before I was born.

That was the night my Mum used the immortal line "It's alright Mrs O'Connell, the house in on fire..."

Tea anyone? Nice elephant caddy!

I'd love one!!

I've been very quite on CC of late, what with one thing or another. Rest assured it's nothing awful, just been busy.
I've also not been on the bikes much with all the cold weather. Hopefully that's on the way out.

Tea?
