Errr - potsy, she's gone

What have you said?

Can I have the Tea and Toast please (as you've made it):hungry:

Any Marmalade?

The time I spent slaving over that hot toaster and that's the thanks I get

I think she's forgotten that we're friends again now, either that or I scared her as I was dressed for the commute

Kettle's on.

I've been pouring over a couple of text books by the designer David Pye to try and write a set of four lessons on his six requirements of design. It is heavy going but fascinating. Some of it I even remember from studying it 6 years ago!

Hi all. Not been here in a while. But I've brought some suggestive biscuits, so can I come back in?

[pedant] Pouring is a Tea thing. I think what you've been doing is poring. [/pedant]

I was thinking more 'boring' Phil

Can you come back? You have biscuits, what do you think?

The effort certainly is!
There is a lot of text to get through finding the interesting bits.

Chocolate digestives on the go.

I'll swap you a choccy digestive for a custard cream

Exciting day at work, we had a fire alarm and had to go and stand in the cold and rain for 20 minutes

Sure, I have 6 left, help yourself.

I chose to stand outside in the cold and wet earlier on, to wash a pair of wheels.

You now have 4 left

Was more worried that it would mean a late finish as the alarm went off at 1.35pm and we finish at 2, don't like spending an extra minute more than I have to there

Oi, Potsy, I heard that.

 Yes, ......when you muttered about where did I leave my purse?

It is quite dear isn't it, you'd only spend the £3 on shoes or sommat equally girly so might as well give it to the WW brigade.

Nice to see the Whoo hooo's making it over to the tea thread, have you gotten permission off Fran though?

I was once staying somewhere when the fire alarm went off.

I was in the shower at the time, and had just washed my hair. Standing outside at 6pm on a very cold evening in November, just with a not-very-big towel wrapped around you is not something that I can recommend.

And yes, it did get very boring, over the following few days, when people kept saying that they did not recognise me with my clothes on.

Did that really happen or was it an episode of Fawlty Towers you're thinking of?

Just how small was the towel? Was it a tea-towel?
