I think she's forgotten that we're friends again now, either that or I scared her as I was dressed for the commute

Just got in before the rain, had my lights on 'flash' as it it very overcast, a ped just said 'hey you've got your lights on in broad daylight'

I've been pouring over a couple of text books by the designer David Pye to try and write a set of four lessons on his six requirements of design. It is heavy going but fascinating. Some of it I even remember from studying it 6 years ago!

I chose to stand outside in the cold and wet earlier on, to wash a pair of wheels.

At Weight Watchers today, I have lost three pounds. This is an average of 1½ pounds since middle of January! whooo hoooo

It is quite dear isn't it, you'd only spend the £3 on shoes or sommat equally girly so might as well give it to the WW brigade.

Hey numbskull, I don't live anywhere near Hundrd Aker Wod so can't be expected to know that can I?

I take it you didn't enjoy your breakfast in bed then?

I was once staying somewhere when the fire alarm went off.

I was in the shower at the time, and had just washed my hair. Standing outside at 6pm on a very cold evening in November, just with a not-very-big towel wrapped around you is not something that I can recommend.

And yes, it did get very boring, over the following few days, when people kept saying that they did not recognise me with my clothes on.

The tea was cold and the toast was soggy, and I did not want to be woken up at 6am, but apart from that it was fine.
