Wot - is Waffles back???

Here wots this grey stuff floating in my Tea? I don't suppose it'll do too much harm. Wots that? Creutzfeld Who?

Took Mrs 26x25 to the hospital today for her Op. She's back home now and looking and sounding OK. But I'm in full Nursey mode, chief cook and bottle washer etc etc. She's just arisen from her recovery sleep. She does a very effective recovery sleep usually.

Cruetzfeld Jacob Disease - is that what you are thinking of? A varient of Mad Cow Disease?

Tea's up, got my favourite 'big mug' of tea and have settled down to watch the footie, and inspired by my chats with Colinj am ignoring the biskits in the cupboard

What would it explain a lot of?

Today's doughnut was very excellent.

You know, I think your mad cow disease is catching, I nearly mentioned the lack of a Wednesday doh-nut comment but for some reason thought it was Tuesday and was glad I didn't write it or it might make me look stoopid

Mid-week weigh in suggests a 1lb loss so far this week, that is surprising since I have been a wee bit bad on the choccy front, though I think another tough ride on Sunday with the Northern folk might do me some good

Football was a big disappointment so I'm off to bed soon to read my vampire book

Yes, excellent doughnuts, large, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside.

I am beginning to wonder if there is a delay between when you eat less and when you weigh less as a result of eating that "bit" less. The fat in the cells has to be processed and transported round the body. That is surely not an instantaneous process.

Why is it that whenever I have had a nice bath, get changed into a crisp white T-shirt does my gorpy girl cat decide to come from outside and jump on me, leaving a trail of muddy paw prints all over me

I look like I've been dragged thru a hedge now

Was it a willow hedge? Then you'd be covered in cat-kins....

Morning. Lemon tea on the go.
Nice day for a bike ride.

It's nicer now than it was riding in this morning...

I just had a very annoying roll for lunch. It was chicken and sweetcorn in mayonnaise, and the mayo was a bit thin, and the roll had been slit nearly all the way through, so the sweetcorn get falling out of the bottom as I took a bite. These minor irritations can really annoy!

The chocolate muffin made up for it though.

Tea?

You're right Arch it is a lot nicer now, if I wasn't such a lazy begger I'd have done an extended ride home

Tea is served, no chocolate muffins here though, unless Speicher has designated Thursday 'Muffin day'
