Tea? (Part 2)

OK so its been a funny old day, today was the day I finally got my broken wisdom tooth out, and also the wisdom tooth above it, it has been causing me pain for 2 months and had 2 infections in that time. It should save me a small fortune on pain killers.

So I walked down to the hospital, about 3 miles, as my car was in for a service. I took a coat as it has been chucking it down all day and yes you guessed it was lovely an sunny and I ended up sweating like a .

So in the dentist chair and about 6 injections later he popped them both out no problem even the broken one came out no problem, so this will be the point that my body developed a mind of its own and I passed out

After sometime I felt ok enough to go and sit in the waiting room looking a little bit off colour, so I sit down and there opposite is another victim patient waiting for her turn, I tried my best to assure them I didnt feel a thing but I don't thing she bought it

So off home I go a 3 mile walk and guess what happened, yes it started raining and I forgot my hat so I walked home with rain bouncing 2 feet off the ground, not a happy bunny.

So some sympathy would be nice if you can spare some.

I am now off to sit down and wait until I can feel things again as I am really but I dont want to bite my tongue off.

On the upside I need to buy a new car once I feel better so I get to look at shiney things for a while

Have some soup. Or ice cream. Or hot chocolate.

Thank you jo I picked up various tins of soup and some soft bread on the way home, I am now waiting to see how much pain I will be in when my mouth stops been all numb.

Just been to Millets for a look-see at the Gore-tex jackets,
1 my size but way too bulky/warm,
1 perfect but they only had it in a small which was just slightly too small for me

1 perfect size, nice and lightweight/packable and it was reduced by £50,only got it in black, and needs to double up as my cycling jacket so a no go

The hunt continues.

Did manage to find 4 books in the charity shop for my at work breaktime reading

I have some ginger and walnut sponge cake with buttercream topping. I could take out the walnuts for you, and it is nice and soft, and very gingery. I was at the Dentist's this afternoon, just for a check up.

After yesterday's party, my brain is finally back in one piece.

ps no need to panic NT, I may be a ginger cat (for now) but ginger cake is not my preferred choice
