Some of my friends lived/worked in a pub owned by their parents so lock-ins were very much the norm in my 20s. The worst was when a mate and I started straight after work and eventually staggered home at about half seven in the morning. We both had to be in work for nine. I'd say I didn't get much done but I honestly do not remember.

A work colleague has given me a Raleigh MTB that was about to take a trip to the tip.
OK, it's only a Max Ogre, with 15 gears and bottom-of-the-range bits.
But it only needed some air in the tyres, and it's really nice to ride.

Mmm, we entered the Tasty Cheddar Audax before figuring out that 5.30 is about the time our alarm will be going off...

Am not very good at going to bed early...and even worse at getting out of it...

I still have hopes of doing something with the £1 BSO. Not sure what, mind.
Possibly going at it with a hacksaw to get bits for a Frankenbike FWD 'bent.
