Some of my friends lived/worked in a pub owned by their parents so lock-ins were very much the norm in my 20s. The worst was when a mate and I started straight after work and eventually staggered home at about half seven in the morning. We both had to be in work for nine. I'd say I didn't get much done but I honestly do not remember.

A work colleague has given me a Raleigh MTB that was about to take a trip to the tip.
OK, it's only a Max Ogre, with 15 gears and bottom-of-the-range bits.
But it only needed some air in the tyres, and it's really nice to ride.

I still have hopes of doing something with the £1 BSO. Not sure what, mind.
Possibly going at it with a hacksaw to get bits for a Frankenbike FWD 'bent.
