Well, when I posted all the cars had headlights on and I couldn't see much colour outside. it's a very overcast day which isn't helping, TBH.

Maybe I need to live further West ;)

getting dark here, sort of halfway between good daylight and very dark.
You would need lights to be sure to be seen, but can still see clearly.

I can still make out the colours in the garden, and can see to the end of the street very clearly (couple of hundred yards away). The outline of the Bredon Hills is merging with the colour of the sky.

It is also overcast here, so the comparasionising is the same.

Dark here now! but I can still see silhouette of trees clearly against the sky and still make out shrubs in the garden that are light green or yellow.

Do I get marks for the scientific approach? or is it time for Tea? ;)

It is annoying though. Someone really should do something about it.

Give me about 6 weeks, and I'll see what I can do...

As we headed back to base fo lunch today, I decided I wanted something to top up my measly ham sandwich and digestive biscuits. I had a bit of a craving for crisps, so decided that that must mean I was a little salt defficient - I'm a great believer in your body giving you hints like that.

Once in the shop, I realised I was also suffering from a biscuit and caramel deficiecy, which I remedied with a Twix... And I can get free teabags!

Tea anyone?

Taking the biscuit
Practically dark is when it is do dark you have to be practical.

Walk with your mouth open and you'll hear better, buy more AyUp lights, that sort of thing......

Dear Waffles, the trusty CAB is next on my list. As of late I have been trying to use services 'prescribed' to me, but this is proving futile as you may have gathered.

I shall be calling them for an appointment in the morning.

The good news is that I've been asked to be the buyer for the replacement bikes at the charity so I'm not going to lose out money wise for the coming weeks at least.
I have a budget and a great deal of resources to hand(Velo Vision's directory of manufacturers of bikes for the disabled is now my bible;))too.

It looks more like I'm going to just cut loose from the benefits as it's becoming far easier to find bits of work to live on rather than have to jump through so many stressful and flaming hoops like some kerosene covered Bijon Frise.

Tea anyone?
The pink wafers are my faves BTW.;)

So sorry  Tdr1nka for eating all your favourite biskits. I had thought that lemon puffs were your favourite, they must be someone elses favourite.

Better to be a fickle jade than just being fick

My bike got rained on while I was in the cinema. I now have a soggy saddle.
And a soggy bit-that-was-in-contact-with-the-saddle.

A Christmas Carol.
It was actually quite good considering it was Disney...
I preferred Up! though. Maybe I'm a philistine

Now - biskits. I'm fond of Lemon Puffs, Garibaldis, discustard creams and milk chocolate suggestives.
Oh, and hobnobs.
