I've just cut up the Marathon Plus. It has a blue centre. I measured it and it is 6.33mm thick in the centre of the tread!
That's why they are bombproof, but oh so heavy  you've seen the pic of them with the drawing pin

No one drinking tea today? :cuppa:
Just got up :tired:must stop staying up til 1.30am listening to stuff on i-tunes and reading books.
Bit of toast and a nice cuppa, planning an offroader today, the bike needs a good splattering of mud it's looking far too clean to be mine ^_^

I've been into town and back to buy a bottle of Baileys. :wahhey: You can tell I've eaten far too much over the past few days as I couldn't bring myself to buy any chocolates, sweets or other snacks

I miss Baileys. If they did it with lactose free cream I could have some.

I feel hung over. I'm not though, no alcohol since half a glass of wine at the weekend, but sleep was rough last night followed by another long session of draining dreams this morning. Please make it stop, it's driving me nuts and making me useless.

I'm going to buy a CO detector this afternoon in case I am slowly killing myself sleeping in the same room as the boiler.

That's the bike sorted, looks a lot better splattered in mud and dog poo
Only a short ride today 13+ miles, most of them on the TPT which is very wet but enjoyable.
Time for a :cuppa: then I have more errands to do, including taking a 13.5kg parcel to someone, I had to carry it about 1/4 mile back to the car yesterday, my arms were shaking for about an hour afterwards, could hardly hold my latte still

Can you buy lactose - free cream? Baileys is a 50 - 50 mix of cream and cheap whiskey IIRC so it shouldn't be too tricky to make...
Indeed - I have just recalled my very good (but nonetheless not quite liqueur) sauce for a good sticky toffee pudding - it's cream, whiskey and sugar. If you did the same with less sugar I'm sure it'd be runnier. Not sure about how to make sure it keeps (or perhaps it's best just to drink it young!)
