I've just cut up the Marathon Plus. It has a blue centre. I measured it and it is 6.33mm thick in the centre of the tread!

It'll be fine, trust me.Yeah. That was what I was worried about!

must stop staying up til 1.30am listening to stuff on i-tunes and reading books.
You can tell I've eaten far too much over the past few days as I couldn't bring myself to buy any chocolates, sweets or other snacks

then I have more errands to do, including taking a 13.5kg parcel to someone, I had to carry it about 1/4 mile back to the car yesterday, my arms were shaking for about an hour afterwards, could hardly hold my latte still
That's not a bad idea NT, I remember a story that Colinj put on the site of his experience with it, very scary stuff!!I'm going to buy a CO detector this afternoon in case I am slowly killing myself sleeping in the same room as the boiler.

Indeed - I have just recalled my very good (but nonetheless not quite liqueur) sauce for a good sticky toffee pudding - it's cream, whiskey and sugar. If you did the same with less sugar I'm sure it'd be runnier. Not sure about how to make sure it keeps (or perhaps it's best just to drink it young!)Can you buy lactose - free cream? Baileys is a 50 - 50 mix of cream and cheap whiskey IIRC so it shouldn't be too tricky to make...
