There is a hobbit in here, though I think the mystery person is asleep

I stuck the M520's from my hybrid on it, in time I will put some of these on and put those back on the Trek.Potsy what pedals are you using on your cx bike as I cant decide wether to get another set of double sided SPD's or go for some with a normal pedal on one side for off road.

The Skoda is a great car, the Fabia is not too dissimilar to my Octavia. The 1.9 TDi is a good engine but do make sure it is in good nick. It should pull ok up to about 2000rpm and then pull hard and fast as the turbo cuts in.Evenings!!!
Now, this being a cycling forum, it's the obvious place to ask...
TheDoctor is looking for a replacement car. Mostly it's for two people and bikes (or a dog), occasionally up to five people for short distances.
I've seen a Skoda Fabia estate with a 1400 turbodiesel. 4 years old, 80-odd thousand miles, £2700.
Sound like a good idea? I'm not wedded to the notion of a diesel, as we only do about 8000 miles a year, but I have no objection to 'em either. Probably aim to keep it for three - four years.
All suggestions welcome...
