I'm feeling a bit better now. I had a sleep for a couple of hours, had some dinner and then did a bit more work on the tractor.
I removed the gear stick assembly and shortened the mount and the linkages by 110mm to move it back out of the way. The stick is now next to my thigh rather then behind my knee.

I managed an injury though. I snapped a 5mm allen key. It fractured on the bend in the key and I bashed my fingers on the side of the motor. Have a cut now, didn't stop me though.:training:

Time for a sit down and a :cuppa:

Oh, I'm glad you feel better. Only you could convalese by fettling your tractor!

Have you taken a picture of the Allen key? You could start an album, along with the picture of those pliers you snapped. "Tools wot I have broke"...

Enjoy your :cuppa:

Yes, only me!

No photo of the allen key, I still have it though so might get a photo tomorrow. It was faulty, there is an area of rust in the break so I can't put this down to any 'skill' on my part.^_^

You know how I've always said my nephew Oli is a genius....

He was being bought his first PE kit the other day, including a pair of plimsolls. In the shop, trying them on, his mum asked if they were ok, and he replied:

"Yes I think they will be suitable"

He's 4.

Mornings :hello:
Up very early for a late shift week, awaiting the return of the RAC, the car is too poorly to be towed so needs a flat bed truck
Special k and tea while I'm waiting :cuppa:

Morning Potsy!
:cuppa:

I had a nightmare dream last night where you were taking me clothes shopping for lycra. It was in a 'Matrix style' all white world where racks of lycra would appear and you would try and convince me I would look good in it!
Didn't work though.

I'd see a Dr if you're dreaming of me NT

Car finally got taken to the local garage, not without struggle though, tow truck just got into the car park, and then it took a lot a padding/fettling to get it up onto the flatbed without wrecking the front spoiler/trim.
Now to wait for the inspection to see how much it's going to cost

Need tea, but am on a 3 cups per day limit
