If I'd realised that I've done 198.5 miles so far this year, I'd've kept going a pesky 1.5 miles further!

Tea? [Potsy and Jo, how do you manage to cycle so effortlessly far?.. and as for Ian R, words fail me!]

On my part it's my athletic prowess, don't know about Jo

Ooh, yes please to :cuppa:. Just been to the shops, accidentally bought a pizza. Went to put the shopping away and discovered that I'd left the hob on. The next electric bill should be fun.

Effortlessly? Athletic prowess?

Actually, that reminds me, I've not logged today's 8 miles. Do I get extra credit for the mud?

my bike fell over with a gust of wind and got "SCRATCHED":cry::cry::cry: I'm sulking now into my coffee
:hugs:

Thats it im getting a cup holder for the bike. TOO many cold journeys! And wow on the cupcake ATM at least i would need a reason for much longer longer bike journeys. To the bike, having cake and tea while im at it!

Well what a lovely day that was, a bit windy on the moors this morning but then settled down and in the afternoon was blazing sunshine.

Jo I had a huge slice of chocolate cake as well as 2 x baked potatoes with cheese and beans (not in that order) on my feed stop :mrpig::hungry:

Managed a hilly 75 miles, I was going to go for 100 but I was running out of daylight and my shoulder started giving my some pain so I settled for the 75.

I took some pics on my phone as it was such a lovely day.

Oh goody a hill to go down Weeeeeeeeeeee ........... unfortunately I have to go back up
on that road in the distance

There where people hanging around in the house next to the field, next time I go up there I will get a better picture.

I am quite please with the pics. I took them on my new phone and it was so sunny I couldnt see the screen properly so I was shooting blind.

Sounds nice apart from the tomato.
Corrianda - is that anything like coriander, then??

I was posting on my phone with its teeny tiny screen and my big fingers with its own version of misspell check and I couldn't be arsed assed bothered to correct it.^_^

I was nearly wiped out by a stupid person in a car this afternoon.
I saw her in the car in a parking spot and I figured to keep out of the door zone, at about 20mph. What I didn't bank on was that she would, while looking at the pub she was parked outside of, to suddenly drive out of the parking spot, without looking or indicating, to nip into the space a couple of cars ahead to be nearer the pub doors!:cursing:
A wide swerve into the gap between the cars on my right and a shout of annoyance and I was still upright.
Looking back at her she never once took her eyes off the pub!

:cuppa: now.
