Oh lordy, the Tea thread has gone all soppy again.
I have improved my purple bike by fitting purple tyres!!
My workmates laughed at it. Quite a lot.

That is a good tractor.
And yes, I am saving up knackered tyres. Probably got half-a dozen, including two Brommie size. The rest are 700C.
Are dead innertubes any use to you, Arch?

And here's the tyre...

What has NT done to need a wheelchair. Is he ok.
My left calf went bang last week. Suspected ruptured achillies tendon but fortunately it isn't ruptured, only ripped off the calf muscle. Having had a cast put on it I then fell over and broke my toe. Photos a couple of pages back up the thread.

I am now in a 'boot' for the next 6-7 weeks and supposedly immobile, though I do try despite Arch telling me off.:secret:

I've done my best to immobilise him with a stack of cycling magazines courtesy of Bikepete, and a big puzzle book I found in the recycling. If that fails, I'll employ gaffer tape.
