Morning!:hello:

Awkward sleep last night, trying to get used to being in bed again. What sleep I had was good though.
Waking up and getting back down the ladder was greatly encouraged when I dropped my phone, when reaching for it to turn off the alarm at 7.30. I couldn't leave it sounding somewhere under my desk so I had to retrieve it.

Had :cuppa: and toast :hungry: and now watching a long youtube video on organic market gardening.

Yes, :cuppa: would be good, thank you Jo.

Given it was an old but meticulously maintained car, it was mechanically near perfect but slightly tatty looking, mainly due rubbish bodywork done nearly 20 years ago. She thinks £500 is the best insurance 'valuation' she can expect for the car but she also has a £350 excess. She is waiting to hear back from the insurance to see what, if anything, she will get.

I suggested a bike but, though her husband cycles everywhere, she isn't really up to it health wise. Her daughter sold her bike to a friend as part of the 'reduction of stuff to move' plan so she should be getting a replacement, hopefully.

I have been told that Tasha, Leo and Jacob all met each other, in Jacob's garden, last Sunday. There was a bit of a standoff during this First Contact, and a bit of hissing, but no violence of a physical nature. Jacob is timid and is much smaller that Leo. I am hoping that Leo realises that Jacob is not a worthy opponent. Yesterday Tasha and Leo and Benjie were on my patio, relaxing in the shade under the furniture. Perhaps Jacob will join the party one day.

You may deduce from the above post that in this hot weather with :sun:the pace of life in west Worcestershire is even quieter than normal. ^_^

It is :sun::sun::sun: outside I just got back from a hilly 37 miles and by eek it is properly HOT no breeze even at the top of the moors. I came down the otherside as fast as I could and still no breeze  also I am only 300 miles off my total mileage for the whole of last year :thanks:

I did some gardening earlier when it was not too hot. I will now be doing things indoors, until it cools down sufficiently to comfortably sit outdoors.

* wonders if the little boy next door would mind my playing in his paddling pool later *
