BTW, when you come over tomorrow, you might just have to follow a different route in, as the Fulford Road is currently under water. Might be ok by the time you get here, but you might have to come in down the Hull Road instead....

I was asked to make the thing with the blender at the front so that it could be seen blending.

There was a seller on Ebay trying to flog them at £999 made to order. Not there anymore. Mine will be considerably cheaper, even if accounting for my voluntary labour.

Harder to engineer but I can see that it would have more of a wow factor.

Today we spent some time looking for a zebra, and everyone admired the pom poms. The pom poms are fourteen inches across rather than fourteen feet. They are made out of Quality Street wrapping.

The contraption has now been cut in half so that some quick release sections can be put in. That will make it easier to transport by cycle trailer.

I just told my parents (very badly after dinner when they kept on pushing for a verbal response from me) that they were 'talking too forcefully' at me and making me recoil.
I apologised but I guess it is time to explain to them about me being Asperger's. I have taken a couple of books down for Mum to read. She is into reading medical books. I said that I will talk with them after when she has read them. We will have a frame of reference then and save a lot of circular explanations that may get very confusing for them.

I hope she doesn't think I am going to be extradited to the US for something....
