I would think it means use the yarn doubled up - presumably the trotters (well, hooves) need to be bulkier than the rest of the leg. Make sure you've got enough - I'd wind a small ball of it off your big ball, and work with two strands at once. Just take care to pick up both strands on each stitch. You can always use any bit left over for sewing up.

Yes, I agree with Arch that it means use the yarn doubled up.

Thank you Arch the pattern said to follow the trotters as described for the pig. I'm determined to finish it for tomorrow, though after reading the making up, I'm a bit apprehensive about sewing it up. Still we will see what get.

Just back from the third cycle ride with Miss A_T.
12 miles, then 15 with Mrs A_T.... and now 10.5 today at an average of 13mph!
I think she's hooked as she tazzed off when we turned for home and managed 27mph - it was only slightly downhill! :wahhey:

Morning Potsy. :hello:

I must admit that I went back to bed for an hour, and I needed it!

The physio appointment was good, different physio and just checking how I have been getting on. I now have a six week session in their gym to bring my fitness back to where it should be and to start recovering my lost muscle tone.

I cycled in on Emily and the ride was good. I was 'chased' up hill by a coach and that got my blood pumping a bit. The coach was keeping a good distance back but I was determined not to crawl up the hill. It then passed me at the top, nice and wide.
Emily's front brake howls like a bus pulling up! Must sort that.

I must admit to being shamefully caught track standing twice on the way back, first at traffic lights and then at some roadworks, waiting for the traffic to move off.

:cuppa: ?
