Fair enough I cant argue with that, but for me it's not a problem I have kindle available on every device I have.

You have Kindle on your tin opener?!

I'm cold! I've got the heater next to me, but it's not helping much. :cold: Better cook some supper soon to warm up.

I collect vinyl even have a fair amount of tapes as well. Got about 500 albums with room to store maybe 150 more. Sure it takes up room but I like having a decent hifi and mp3 sounds gash imo.

Vinyl has the benefit that even with very limited resources, and no modern tech, a player can be 'cobbled together' to make it play music. That can't be said for virtual media or CDs.

I have a decent HiFi cost me a small fortune to put together over a number of years and most of it is in the loft as I just never listened to it that much, that is the way things are going these days people are going for convenience over quality. I also have quite a few boxes of vinyl keeping the HiFi company in the loft.

I think I agree with all that Night Train says. Tis further complcated by the fact that neither of the next two cds that I might buy, are available for download, as they are both imports.

Amongst the small collection of flash drives memory sticks, I have found one called MuVo Creative 64mb. I think this is for saving music onto, just in case I wish to download anything. With over one hundred cds in the house I am not short of music to listen to.

When I play a cd, there are very few tracks that I would not play. Having said that, I might download "Morning has Broken" played on the Hammered Dulcimer. ^_^

You can always copy the CD to a device, or re-record the CD onto CDr, without the offending tracks if there were any that you didn't like.

I have changed the play order and removed tracks on some of my CD album copies for car use, and also edited the tracks and play lists on the music I have transferred onto my phone and MP3 player.

I don't listen as much since having the little one. But still try to get in a couple of sessions a week by myself so it still justifies it's presence to me. I miss having disposable income to buy vinyl though.
