I had decaf, then the disastrous leaded, then tea to soothe my assaulted reflexes.

Torrential rain forecast here too so t'will definitely be an indoors day. Apart from walking Herself, naturally.

It's a bit icy outside I had to hold onto the car while I chipped off the ice to stop myself sliding down the street every surface is covered in sheet ice

Very active of you. I had a second breakfast and managed to go back to sleep for a couple of hours. definitely required though.

Second breakfasts are highly recommended.
I'm going to take the dog for a walk in the dark to help with second servings today.

nice cup of Ringtons Northern Choice to steel myself for the bike to the post office (5 minutes) and the queue in the PO whilst customers tell the staff about their neighbours drilling holes into the walls and eavesdropping on their conversations and how the goldfish is a little off-colour (20 mins)

I have just been up into the attic to fetch the Christmas deccos. I had decided not to faff about putting up a tree this year.

Next to the tree, I found a smaller tree, about half the size of the original. How did that happen? I might put the ickle tree up, with just a few deccos on it, if I can made it Tasha proof. She has a penchant for pushing artificial tree over.
