GWS Archie, I hope it isn't what Arch and I have had. :hugs:

No snow here though there was a very very light scatter of some white hundreds and thousands when I was out to the hospital earlier.

OK, walls have been painted, woodwork sanded, and a few more dollops of filler applied. I should be able to sand again and paint tomorrow. Then skirtings, architraves and rehang the door.

:cuppa: now.

Yay, well done!

I ought to go and have a nice hot shower. I know it would do me good. Steam would probably clear my head a bit. But it would mean getting out of bed, and out of my clothes and into the cold bathroom. I feel all feeble.:unsure:

For once, I fancy a nice hot bath, but even a full immersion tank doesn't give me enough to be thought of as luxurious. More like 'wartime ration'.

I was going to cook reheat a proper dinner, but I'm not feeling very hungry yet.

<whinge>

Right, get on with it Archer. Ring your mother like you said you would, then get on with it.

It's a miracle. I feel...

Human!

The shower helped, but I still wasn't convinced I wanted dinner. Thought I better cook it anyway (very simple, reheat sauce, 5 minute pasta). Served up, took it to bed to eat, and read elsewhere that two lovely people are having a baby. Cheered me right up, and I wolfed the lot down.

I'll make a cuppa in a minute, and have a little scoop of ice cream....

Still a teensy bit headachy with sinuses, and will be more so when the steam wears off, but I can imagine feeling ok tomorrow!

I have joined lovefilm for £7.99 per month and I get unlimited streaming and 1 dvd at home at a time I am getting 2 - 3 dvd's a week at the moment so I am getting more than my moneys worth. I am also trialing Netflix as they have some stuff Lovefile dont have so both together they are only £14.

I also upgraded my Broadband to fibre optic 36mb download and got an unlimited bandwith deal on it so I can stream as much as I like at no extra cost, this is costing me about £7 more than the 5.5mb broadband I did have.

The next thing I am looking at is getting a Freesat box so I can record again like I can with Sky + but I have to get some gear so I can send sky to my bedroom as well as the living room but that is in hand :thumbsup:. It will take me about a year to recoup all the hardware costs and after that the Freesat will be ...... well FREE :hyper:
