I'd hesitate to describe Win8 as 'fun', unless the only other option is nailing your genitals to a skunk.

All I have to do now is get Solitaire back and all is well.

I have no idea why they dont just have an option not to install metro on desktop installs.

It seems after vista they did a really good job at digging themselves out of the crap with windows 7 only to mess it all up again with windows 8, and to think they call it an upgrade :laugh:

I know. I have no irrational hatred of touchy feely fondleslab interfaces - I have one on my Android phone. But to force you to have a touchscreen interface on a non-touchscreen device is stupidity itself.

I still cant believe the design of the metro and windows phone interface, I mean coloured squares WTF were they thinking .......... muppets :headshake:........ I would almost rather have an iphone xx(

It was for a touchphone,so it would be sensible,but its irritating on PC,you have to use the start button to do anything,then that weird "take the mouse to the corner" thing and i wont even start on game errors for 8:cursing:
