Nolo is currently asleep in my arms. Seems she's laid a softie and perhaps a bit of an impacted crop.
She's had a long warm bath, is wrapped in towels in my arms to keep warm. Soon she'll be getting a bit of olive oil up the nether regions to errr.. coax out any remnants to help prevent infection developing and she'll get some natural yoghurt syringed down her gullet to get the other end movinb too. She's going to spend the day inside so I can keep an eye on her.

Nolo has now had olive oil inserted in one end and natural yoghurt in the other. The natural yoghurt was infinitely preferrable...

She's now in the little ark I have for such emergencies, indoors and having an eye kept on her.

Edit: She's having a little snooze.

Wow sounds great being a Hen, I did'nt realise there was all these things you could do for them!!! My Bro's hens don't get that treatment I tell you.

Seriously though hope she is ok and makes a full recovery.

I think it's a bit cruel, you've virtually marinaded her from inside! If they meet in the middle, it'll be a sort of greek salad dressing....

I hope she feel better soon. I'll never be able to think about olive oil and yoghurt the same way again....

I've done a load of washing this morning, catching up afer being away, so I know have damp tee shirts hanging in each window to catch the best warmth from the sun and a bit of breeze.

Well, she's not herself. She's not interested in feeding herself. So I've wrapped her in a towel, cradled her in my arms & syringed her with some more natural youghurt down her throat. She took it well. That way she's getting calories + hydration. She's slept a while in my arms like that and perked up *a bit* but not much. I'll keep giving her that every couple of hours. She's not looking as if she's in any pain, or suffering, but she's not well, if you see what I mean. Breathing is fine, no nasties from anywhere. I hope she perks up properly.

Hiya all, we just got back from the London show. Car was a bit lighter coming back due to selling lots of mags and our front room shelves being nicked from our stand during packing up time. ;)

Bugger! Perhaps not as bad as having a bike stolen, but this must be the first time anyone's reported stolen furniture on here!!!!
I bet the shelves weren't even D-locked ;)

I think they would have nicked the D-lock too. Funny thing is that they knew what they were doing, and knew that no one would question them about taking it ether.

An exhibitor also got his laptop nicked on traders day and someone got their camera nicked stolen.

Need extra strong staying awake tea me thinks, only had 6 hours sleep after coming back from London. Off to college soon.

Morning. Thieves come in all forms it seems. Condolences, Gromit.

Nolo still not 100%, so she's still indoors. She's a wee bit perkier than yesterday, but not 100%. So the TLC continues.
