Yeah, wet and grey (well, dark now) here, been wet all day, it makes the recycling lovely and clingy inside any carrier bags that happen to be use to sort it.

I had a sort of cheat's risotto for tea, just stuff mixed into cooked rice. Now I just have room for a leftover slice of choc chip cheesecake.

Cheat's stir-fry here. Strips of lean pork, Thai 7-spice mix, soy, lots of chopped veggies (leek, carrot, broccoli, mange tout, fine green beans) and some cooked rice. YUM.

Spoke to my sister last night and she said "See you next week". Blimey, it really is Christmas next week!



This time next week, I'll be nearly home, laden down with presents.

Can't wait to see Oli again, he's talking in proper sentences now apparently. I must check whether he's to have a Christmas stocking and whether anything small is required for it.

Thank you Arch for painting a hat on Elliott. I have found last year's Wol picture with a hat painted very kindly by Night Train. I decided people might not recognise me, if I changed into an elephant.

Today I have posted my Christmas Cards. Just changed my avatar. Tomorrow is wrap some presents, and think about putting up some decorations.

and duffle coats - I have found a lovely red duffle coat, but it is a tad small for me.

His name is Elliott.

I could make him my Christmas avatar. How would I find the right shade of red so his hat matches his jacket?

Will this do Speicher? It's not a perfect match, but the best I can do in Paint...

Mornings!

Haven't had brekkie yet.. Once more with trepidation I went out to the hens and only breathed a deep sigh of relief when greeted by three bouncy feathered things demanding breakfast. Paranoid? Me?
