Taking the biscuit
Fuggit.

Took a side road today which hasn't been gritted, saw that the speed cushion I was aproaching looked wet but uopn reaching it I could see it was all compacted ice.
No time to stop but managed to unclip before I low sided the bike and slid to a halt.;)

Just time for a bath before I get Miss t to the babysitter and I go to Brixton to see PiL!

Any tea about?

BTW Doc', how does it feel to be the wrong way up?

I'm a bit squiffy! There were some leaflets to deliver after work, and the boss and I delivered them and he bought me a pint afterwards. A whole pint, on just a bag of peanuts. I've shovelled some pasta into myself now, so I may soon be sober.

Hic!

Morning!
Tea on the go.

Gawd! London was a nightmare last night!
20mins of heavy snow(at most an inch)and the place went to pieces.
Trying to get from New Cross to Brixton, a distance of about four mile, took nearly two hours.

Woo hoo! How exciting!

I got off work early today, we'd finished quickly as a lot of people hadn't put boxes out, so I went into town and discovered my friend with the sheep had a stall on the farmers' market. She's sold several of my bits of knitting and owed me the money, so I have £50 burning a whole in my wallet! I stayed to help her for an hour or so, and to pack up.

Sadly (or rather luckily, as I have leftovers to use up), the Chinese takeaway I pass on the way home is closed Tuesdays.

This might well be my last evening online until after Christmas, since, weather permitting, I'm off to Mum's after work tomorrow. So...

Merry Christmas!

:bravo:about the House keys Landslide. ;)

Arch, I am sure you will have lots of fun playing trains. I hope the bad weather does not affect your travels too much.

I hope so too. I suspect I'll be fine - the worry is whether sis and family can get up to Leicester from Winchester. Basingstoke was gridlocked this morning apparently, although many have said, it serves Basingstoke right for being a slough of despond. I'm hoping the fact that they don't live too far from the A34, and then it being pretty much motorway all the way to Mum's, will help.

If the worst came to the worst, we might be able to reconvene over New Year instead, as I have the same days off.

Tonight, I have to pack (it'll be all presents and few clothes, I might end up wearing them all!) and sew up the pair of pandas. I should have done it last night, but after a pint after work, I feared one might end up with 5 legs and three eyes or something.

Fantastic!!! When do we get to come up and drink all your beer help redecorate then?

Just what I needed to distract me, that.
I can't work out whether this upside-down cake is actually the right way up...
