So why did you go 20 miles to see a fox when it was only three yards away?

He's terrible at map reading?

Coincidentally, my sister texted to say that Oli has what he keeps calling 'chicken fox'...

tea?

I don't know how ill he is - apparently they were off to look at some big diggers. Which I suspect would do more for Oli than it would for my sister's sore throat...

I've got 12 bottles of washing up liquid dregs decanting in the kitchen....

I'm sorry to have to ask but what are you doin?

Pours inquisitive tea.

I've noticed how many people throw bottles and jars away with useful amounts of stuff still in them. Edibles I think are a bit dodgy, but washing up liquid should be fine. So I'm collecting any that turn up in the recycling with dregs still in them, and collecting them into one bottle. I've filled one already, in about 3 weeks. At this rate, I'll never need to buy it again.

All my colleagues, fortunately, have entered into this idea with gusto, so while I was away, there were a dozen bottles accumulated for me.

The annoying thing is how much jam and ketchup gets thrown away.
