We need to see some photos of you astride Monty, Waffles!!

That sounds so very wrong...

And confusing. Monty is my winter hack bike....

It's been one of those days. Kept dropping stuff, chucking stuff in the wrong bags etc. I swept the compound to death on Friday, and today it's all covered in bits of willow tree and paper that had blown out of the skip. We had to do two runs to Clementhorpe, and Beryl took ages to recharge, and we ended up back at base at 4.30 (finish time), whereas we're normally done a bit early, and then we had to rig a tarp over the paper skip to prevent further egress of Daily Mails and Take a Break magazines.

God, I need this tea.

Bloody Buggering Arse Tits!

I think I've got a cold coming on. You know that feeling at the back of your throat, not quite sore, but you can feel it... And a bit phlegmy.

I bet I caught it off that dummy I was resucitating on Saturday, she didn't look too well. Well, she had no limbs for a start.

Great cake though!

Ningles!!
It's a ruddy awful evening here - cold and rainy. I just hope it clears up for the WNRttP.

Cold and rainy here too. It's a good thing I live at the top of a small hill. I have got plenty of time to build my boat.

Cold and rainy here too. Not good cycling weather:sad:.

Lord, no wonder financial services has a bad name. Arranged insurance for Monty yesterday. Docs through today. Reading docs I think, no.. that's not right. No, wasn't asked about that. on quite a few points. So being involved in financial services, I'm well aware that if there are any discrepancies or errors, that can be used as a means for a company to deem the insurance invalid - just when you're making a claim. Barstewards. So I rang up the company and pointed out the errors. Have kept details of who, what & when spoken to and put them right about said details. One hopes one never needs to use such information but one needs to be careful and cover one's ample 4r$3!

Did I hear right, on the news today it was reported that Twinnings tea is moving to production to Poland!!! and that the staff are going to have to train the polish workers in this country, so that they can then return to Poland so that the plant in this country can be closed.

That is supposedly the case. Sounds very much like a 'rub-your-nose-in-it' scenario. Not good if that is how it is.

I've often thought of building a wooden bike, but since I'm perfectly capable of messing up an Ikea flat-pack, it's perhaps not a good idea.
That wooden scooter looks good, although it's a shame they didn't make a wooden engine to power it!!
