I don't really do Christmas, not being into religious stuff but I do sometimes have a small tree for the winter solstice. However, to save killing a small tree just for ornament I have a fibre optic one that is about 2' tall.

You could saw 2' off the top of Ian's tree, then you can have your little tree, and he can fit his on a table...

Can I have a celebratory tea? I passed the 6000 mile mark on my trip a couple of days ago and have made it to LA, the end of my trip :sad:. Hold the mince pies though. I've got to switch from 'eat everything in sight' mode to 'I don't want to put back on the weight I've lost' mode. It's going to be a challenge.

LA is a great place.. love it..
I think after all your mileage you are entitled to eat what you like in whatever amounts.

Well done!

Tea all round then.

I have just got round to writing my third lesson plan for my teacher training. I hate them. Real ones are better as there is a point to them and they relate to the students' learning. These ones are pointless and are just playing at being teacher to score marks.
I am going to have a bunch of trainee teeacher in my workshop planing some wood!

I know there is corned beef, but corned dog? I hope you do not mean Corn dog, that horrible stuff on a stick that is popular in the States?

Btw Potsy, it does not look at all elegant when you try to warm your feet up on your mug of Hot Choc. Please find yourself a hot water bottle.

Corned beef is often called corned dog up here, not having ever eaten dog I can't comment on the accuracy of the name
