I had a doughnut at lunchtime, and yes that is allowed, occasionnally. I have decided Wednesday is doughnut day, and Saturday is chocolate day.

To compensate for the doughnut, the first part of my lunch was tuna salad with no bread, and no potatoes.
Homemade soup is on the agenda, to have at lunch. Tinned soups are very salty and contain lots of sugar, not too mention expensive. Cup a Soups are ok in emergency, but not very filling.

I will be absent this evening cos I have a very boring meeting to attend.  Added to the boredom is uncomfortable chairs, and a very cold room. Hot chocolate may well be consumed on my return.

I used to do a mean chocolate and banana cake.

It was so mean, it had one chocolate chip, and you waved a banana at it for flavour....

No, I'm sure it was grand!

CrinklyLion did a chocolate and bananananananana cake for our ride last Sunday, very nice it was, with a big thick layer of chocolate ganache layered in the middle...

I was told today, our big boss at the centre 'likes my energy'. Whatever that means.

Mind you compared with the two I was working with today, I'm a never-stopping dynamo of perpetual work.

Err sorry but there is a Law of Thermodynamics which says you are not  And maybe your Boss meant your Entropy

Never mind I'm dreaming of a very large Chocolate and banananana and choc ganache cake for one. I may share if you say the correct words

"GIMME SOME CAKE OR I'LL KNOCK YOUR BLOCK OFF!"

or something like that?

Surely, I can be a dynamo of perpetual work, as long as I'm fed regular inputs of energy (or in my case, cake and noodles)? I never said I was a closed system...

My 'energy' was demonstrated today when my boss and his boss came back from a meeting to find me washing boxes while my colleague, who should have been helping, was nattering indoors.

Arch- I'm never going to be describe as a never-stopping dynamo of perpetual work, but compared to a couple of my colleagues i'm positively hyperactive

On a totally un-related topic I've just woke up from a 'power nap'
