Just watched this, nice little film! I approve of the armchair bike, of course.

1938. I wonder how many of them survived the war....

Just goes to show, there's nothing new in cycling...

My curry was fab. But I have indigestion now.

My sister has given me the date for Max's christening, which means I now have to go in to St Nicks on Friday and ask for a third Monday off in a row...

I'm off to see them on Monday, can't wait!

I have swapped shifts today which meant I got home last night at 10.45pm and had to get up again at 4am, not surprisingly I went for an extra 30 mins in bed and drove in :tired:
Ready for a tea now.

Not surprised Pots. That's not a lot of sleep.

.. I need my sleep, at least 7 hours minimum. And luckily young Henry loves his sleep too and is sleeping through the night.

Potsy, I know that you do not use your car very often, but do you think it might be an idea to clean it, once a year? ;) The ashtray needs emptying, just how many Mars bars wrappers are you trying to fit in there?

Who've you been talking to? My car gets cleaned twice a year if it's lucky, and there are no Mars Bar wrappers, though there might be the odd crisp packet still in there

Got a feeling it'll be a very early night for me, unless I have a cat nap soon :tired:

I cleaned my car today, and removed all the parking tickets.

I was going to have a very quiet evening, unfortunately lots of phone calls soon ended that idea.

Sorry about that, must stop making obscene phone calls when I'm bored ;)

I'll drop my car round next time you're in a car washing mood

Yes, Arch, car park tickets. I do enjoy a bit of ambiguity. ;)

I cleaned the car on the inside, including the inside of the windows. I did not wash it on the outside. Might do that another day.

I was talking to my neighbour as well. There are lots of vans and cars parked in the street this week. The man opposite is a builder and working on the new conservatory for someone four doors up. So the builder and his workmen are parked in the street, the cars normally on that drive are on the road. The other way up the street someone is rebuilding their garage, which means more vehicles, and then the chap next door who is a plumber, and not busy has all his vehicles dotted around. Fortunately it is a fairly wide road.

Anyway, bear with me. So I suggested I could provide a car or van valetting service. They could park on my driveway, but what should I charge for valetting?
