Ningles!!!

Bit drizzley here first thing, but it's brightening up now. Anyone for a brew?
And Happy Birthday to Tdr1nka if he's lurking. I hope to meet up with him at the weekend

The sun poked its head out at about 7, and then scurried back to bed

I'm just waiting for my breadmaker to ping. Fresh, warm bread with butter for lunch. Mmmmmmm.

Do send him my regards, won't you?

I dropped Beryl's ramp on my foot today. There's no point in having steel toecap boots and then dropping a thing on the unprotected top of your foot...

On the way home I called at the post office, and had an irresistable urge for Cadbury's Dairy Milk, so I've bought a bar, and I'm trying to be restrained and not eat it all in one go.

Tea?

Wow it's sunny out there :sun:
Was looking decidedly bleak for most of the day but has turned out really nice, even though the pigging wind is still blowing!!

Having worked an extra couple of hours which meant cycling home at 4pm instead of the much quieter 2pm than I'm used to, I am treating myself to 3 or 4 Mcvities fruit shortcake biskits, well, it is one of my 5 a day

Ice tea?

I managed to stub between my little toes getting out of bed last week. It wasn't until I took my work boots off when I got home that I found my foot was bruised and quite swollen. I had a lovely purple thing that move to my big toe. Better now though. I would have had chocolate too as well.

Hey Phil I have willpower you know  anyway what's the chances of Arch actually putting that choccy down before it's all gone? 100/1?
Just wish Tesco would stop selling Magnums half price, being a cheap skate I won't buy them at full price but have no qualms about having the odd pack or 10 if they are a bargain

There is only a very small Tesco here. It is about the size of one and a half tennis courts. They do not sell many ice creams. The baker's shop sells ice creams, very nice ones. It can be very confusing because the book shop used to sell chocolates.

Going to make my dinner now, spag bol to cheer my foot up.

And then later, I'm going to revel in colour telly, and millions of channels. Well, some. More than 5 anyway.

I can see how that would confuse the feeble minded
