Tea? Oh yes, please.

*passes biscuit jar*

Blue skies and sun here. Slightly odd, as all the forecasts swore it would rain. Took the bike out this morning, so did the laundry and sat in the garden with the dog and a book this afternoon. Came indoors because it clouded over. Sat down with a cuppa and it immediately went all sunny again. Staying indoors in case I scare it away. And I've just realised that I forgot to wash my mitts* summer gloves. Bah!

* Never calling them mitts again after the thread about t'other mits...

This afternoon I was learning about propagation of plants. It got fairly technical about the moisture content of the compost, protecting them from harsh sunlight etc. A lot of cutting comments were made.

I now have some potted Plantlets from Buddleia Lindi something or other.
Coffee and biskits were served. It would have been very rude not to try the custard creams, wouldn't it?

YIKES!

I just had a good look at my helmet after the 'off'.

The front right where the visor is scuffed has a small dent in the plastic from the visor and tiny dents in the foam from the road grit.
However, on the other side there is a great big dent, from a round tube, just above the left ear that has bent the plastic and broken the foam.

Not sure which bit of Granville whacked me on the head but I am really glad I bought the helmet. Guess I should look to get another one now.

Definitely, that one will be a write off.

Naughty Granville, trying to break his fall with your head!

Thanks! He is a fine boy, and quite a character. We were drawn to him due to his mono-earedness and magnificent eyeliner.

Just found another pic of him being helpful:

And another from when he first arrived from the rescue, and wasn't allowed out...

Now, I think Speicher should take some snaps of her mogs, haven't seen any pics of them for a while...

Alike in looks and temperament?

Sunny here, hope it stays that way, got an evening ride tonight.

Just looks I would say, both cats are very mard especially the boy cat. Girl cat is scared of her own shadow, boy cat is one of those that you can do anything to and he won't complain (too much)
Some recent shots-

All the scratches (and there were many*) from the She-Devil vanished over time but I've got a with-me-for-life scar on my nose from the softy, mamma's boy wuss cat. Last time I ever rescue a stuck kitty from a roof
