I have decided to give Angelfishsolo's favourite mug a very good clean, and put it away safely in the cupboard.

One day he might need it again.

I did a little bit of repair work in the workshop today. Dad has a Pashley trike that had a twisted frame and a very crude crossbar welded to it. I decided it was time to fix it properly.

The cross bar was cut off and the frame straightened with the use of two bits of pipe, a car jack and a sledge hammer to wedge the frame under the workbench.

Once straight it needed a better cross bar ot second down tube. I decided to cut the down tube out of a scrap Raleigh MTB frame.
A bit of filing to miter the ends and I had this.

I then Zapped it with the Mig welder to give it life and then tidied up the lumpy bits a little.

Frankentrike, the Pashley/Raleigh hybrid is nearly complete.

HELLO ................ just been out for a 46 mile and I only got shouted/sworn at by 1 person (in a corsa of course), at least I think thats what they did it sounded like rarararararararaf*****grarararararararyouc***rarararara I offered to discuss this with them but they declined my two fingered invitation.

I only nearly got killed by 1 person in a large 4x4 who pulled across the main road in front of me which is an improvment over most days.

Which is why I didn't have room for my camera and so missed taking photos of some spectacular views.

I either need to get a frame bag as well or a bigger saddlebag.

Excellent have a gold star and go to the top of the class I can never understand people who dont carry spare tubes.

I have a saddle bag for all my tools and tubes etc and a bar bag for everything else. I have a small bar bag and a large one so I can choose depending on how far I am going.
