More proof that God is a man

Lovely ride for us, 50ish miles with coffee and cake at Jodrell bank. The cafe has been done up very nicely since I was last there, they have even built a covered bike shed

Ooh, is the new visitor centre up and running now? I must get round to visiting one day.

Did you know... The pivots on the first big telescope, which was built just after the war, are recycled from gun turrets from a battleship.

A group shot without your bikes? Pah!

The bike's taking the photo. They all go out on one 9 seater tandem.... (well, it's an eight seater, and Potsy has a little tagalong on the back...;))

Ugh, I need tea. Just been on a 2 hour train ride, which normally takes and hour and a half (engineering works and spending the first 15 minutes apparently going in the wrong direction), and I stood for the first hour and a half, and then was able at least to get space to sit down on the floor...

By the time I got home, I was almost too tired to remember how to fold the Brom.

:tired:

Thank you. Mind you, I'd have drunk it out of a rusty bucket.

One rusty T bucket coming up.
