Trouble is, you plug a volcano, the pressure has to go somewhere or it just builds up. Vesuvius is blocked with a plug of rock and is long overdue an eruption. When it goes, I'd hate to be near Naples.

Apparently, none of the vulcanologists who study Vesuvius live in Naples...

Well, I'm back oop North. I used Grand Central for the first time, and oh! the bliss. Old slam door rolling stock, with legroom equal to first class in most modern coaches. And you get to do the leaning out of the window to open the door with the outside handle thing...

I'm happy with the proposed furnishings so long as we can get rid of the carpet and go for something easier to clean (up after Potsy).

Saying that on my last forum ride we must have stopped 3 times before we got to the cafe stop for Colinj to 'water the bushes' he blamed it on a large mug of tea he's drunk before we(e) set off, must have been bucket sized

Anyway, tea and a disgustard cream or 8 might be on the offing for my afternoon pre-nap snack
