You were lucky then. Over 200 on the street at one stage. Not one of them local!Evening everyone. Just in from guitar lesson. Left Hubster to fend off the trick or treaters and, despite families every which way around here, not one knock.
We had already liberated all the malteser sweets from the tub of cadburys heroes. I texted hubster to get him to take out all the galaxy caramels too, as they are too nice to give to the local kids, but it seems that people still remember the previous tenant. We've been here a fortnight already, I'd have thought that the neighbour's kids would have been around. Heigh ho. Sweeties for us. (not today as it's a fast day).
Just having a nice cuppa as I'm too 'up' and awake to go to bed yet.
Blimey! I saw a lot of kid in costumes roaming about, with their Mum's while driving down the road on my way to lesson. Not 200 of them though. You were lucky then. Over 200 on the street at one stage. Not one of them local!
Apparently the loo man noticed this when he was fitting the new toilet. He put in a request for a repaired floor and made a note that the slope was wrong and that the floor was at least 10 years old. The council put a copy of the loo man's order in with their letter. His report was quite detailed and said about 'historical cats' living there with previous tenant, causing flooring issues. The "Big Kids" were staggering about the town centre at teatime.
Can I send a few down your way next year. Seeing as you had none this time?
Point out the fact that the wetroom floor is sloping the wrong way, out under the door!
