Good morning mikey :hello:

I often don't... wouldn't today if I hadn't taken car to place of meal break...

drivers are often scheduled to take meal breaks on the bus or in a filthy cesspit of a company car that is also a danger to all *we are talking about a £300 banger here*.

Not allowed to go in a pub & if you want to take your own food/butties whatever, you can't on those shifts.

Gonna call the H&S Exec in one day

#addinuff. :boxing:
Current regulations clearly state that ALL breaks are to be taken away from the vehicle.

If taken on the vehicle, then they count as part of the driving hours and should be entered as such. Not a break.

To enter as a break would mean falsifying the records. Which would lead to suspension of the licence for repeated offences.

Not assisting, reported this to my Supervisor as it is detrimental to the Health & Safety of all who travel with this driver, myself included.

Not interested in the slightest, same with the Operator.

As long as the wheels are rolling, the whole lot of 'em don't give a $#!T

Until a kid/someone/ is knocked off their bike/feet & killed nothing will be done.

Report it & management come after you (this in Local Gov't too).

And then when something does happen, they'll be after you for not reporting it to them.
