Not yet, but there's plenty of time left.

Morning @SteCenturion, @stephec, @welsh dragon, @classic33, @Turdus philomelos, @Mo1959 and anyone else I've forgotten (I've been back 3 pages and think that I have got the usual suspects.
Busy old day for me so I'll see you all later![]()
Current regulations clearly state that ALL breaks are to be taken away from the vehicle.Good morning mikey
I often don't... wouldn't today if I hadn't taken car to place of meal break...
drivers are often scheduled to take meal breaks on the bus or in a filthy cesspit of a company car that is also a danger to all *we are talking about a £300 banger here*.
Not allowed to go in a pub & if you want to take your own food/butties whatever, you can't on those shifts.
Gonna call the H&S Exec in one day
#addinuff.![]()
Seems like a man after my own heart (not literally) that would be organ theft or cannibalism or summat...
Only the heart, not the soul!Seems like a man after my own heart (not literally) that would be organ theft or cannibalism or summat...

This i know.Current regulations clearly state that ALL breaks are to be taken away from the vehicle.
If taken on the vehicle, then they count as part of the driving hours and should be entered as such. Not a break.
To enter as a break would mean falsifying the records. Which would lead to suspension of the licence for repeated offences.
This i know.
Why you breaking/assisting in breaking the law then?
It's getting better all the time....Afternoon Mr Centurion, how's you s**t day going?![]()
And then when something does happen, they'll be after you for not reporting it to them. Not assisting, reported this to my Supervisor as it is detrimental to the Health & Safety of all who travel with this driver, myself included.
Not interested in the slightest, same with the Operator.
As long as the wheels are rolling, the whole lot of 'em don't give a $#!T
Until a kid/someone/ is knocked off their bike/feet & killed nothing will be done.
Report it & management come after you (this in Local Gov't too).
