Hoorah! and Bally Hoo!! just got an email confirming I've passed my Leadership assignment!!!

Passed at P4 grade (whatever that means!) If I'd balanced it a bit more toward theory I would have got a distinction - but I don't care, I've passed something!!!!!

Well done.............it's always much more difficult to pass things at your age! Just joking.....enjoy your muffin.

I ventured out on the hybrid for a tootle. Within ten minutes the heavens opened and I carried on for 32 miles in heavy rain. Fingers and tootsies were getting uncomfortably cold near the end but I strangely quite enjoyed it and was actually feeling better on the bike than I have for ages. Next door neighbour handed in some home made lentil soup. Certainly hits the spot on a day like this.

Well done to you both. I have left my soggy wet bike sitting for the moment too. Suppose I better attempt to clean and dry it off a bit now that I have warmed up a bit.

It was very wet and muddy on some of the country lanes and no mudguards!

I have just had a lovely Beanies coffee (Ameretto flavour) and am giving some lunch a bit of consideration. I'll eat something after the dog walk I think.
I got a ride in today but before my first cup of tea of the day, I had a sneaky weigh on the scales (Tuesday is weigh day) and I am now the lightest I have been since September 2009. I am not thrilled. Being thrilled is an understatement. I've done the happy dance (twice). I had a quick celebratory bike ride and have been keeping my mind active since.
Today is Great Friday in this house.
