Is it the sort of project you want at this point in your life, that's the big question ?

Or do you prefer a walk in ready property ?

I think on balance we will go for it. The plot and where it is makes the the current property bearable for the moment while we think on how we can modifiy it later, we'd have a pretty good budget to start bashing it about a bit and moving things around (it's a bungalow with stud internal walling mostly so theres a lot of scope depending on budget really). We're just waiting on a few answers resulting from our first look yesterday before deciding whether to make an offer.
