Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
I prefer it to sending sms as I have loads of data.
You can attach photos or videos and they don't cost as they would do if you attached them to a text.
Also you can see if someone is online and if they have read the message

Might be handy.

I find it a boon,
my kids and I use it all the time, handy if you are in shops and want to see if its the correct item etc..
My oldest daughter bought her first road bike last night and I got the pic to show me just before she bought it. handy app.

Totally agree with you there Bob.
I was never bothered and always dismissed the idea till one of my mates showed me how it works about a year ago.
As I said I hardly ever send a text nowadays, only really to anyone that isn't on Whatsapp.
Also as you mention it doesnt cost to send a picture which I would have never sent if you had to pay.

Picture messages used to be in most monthly contract bundles, now WhatsApp and their ilk have knocked them into touch.
WhatsApp is Facebook owned so you know what you are tied into...

What would we do without mobiles or the internet, eh? Mrs. M has spent four days away with no mobile signal or the internet and I think was stir crazy and she hardly surfs, she uses Hangouts and Whats App but where she was is a dead area although an odd item can sneak through but forget to phone anyone.

Maybe that's what she wants you to believe, so you'll not be phoning her.

Oi, Bob's fully domesticated.
I've even made fresh bread (my passion along with coffee)^_^

Oooh, a fellow baker! I make bread by hand 3 times a week. I've got a mate who, believe it or not, has bred his own yeast from the "bloom" on his plums, and feeds it every day. He leaves his bread to prove for 4 to 6 hours first time, and 2 hours second time. Still not as tasty as mine, mind you. ;)

Jeez, there's so much ammunition for Classic there in that one paragraph that it will keep him going for a week..........or he'll just explode.

@MikeG wouldn't it be interesting to see how Mr Classic behaves in front of Mrs Classic.
You could imagine a female cloaked one giving him a beating for being a naughty little boy :rofl:

Basic stuff just gets the Panasonic treatment, the specials are all hand done:smile:,
I first discovered a liking for baking etc when working in a posh hotel in my teenage years, I wasn't kitchen staff but got seconded to make all the tasty cakes etc(they couldn't keep staff), I got handed an old hand written recipe book and told to get on with it. My sweet trollies were exceptional. I got offered to be trained in the art but had itchy feet.

Mind you, last cake I made fell flat...
