'Twas a bit blowy this afternoon for sure!Next lot due in from the South though.
Good morning folks. Terrible weather here last night. High winds and torrential rain kept me awake all night. The weather is still awful here.![]()
I know Wales gets it first and being to the west you obviously get it worse but this summer has been a waste of time for all of us.
It already feels so autumnal which is so depressing.
Months of it to come.
It is a depressing thought. And it seems to be getting worse year on year![]()

Global Warming, innit. It is a depressing thought. And it seems to be getting worse year on year![]()
2003 for the first, 2008 for the second. You count snow in then it's 2011.I completely and fundamentally disagree. I think the forecasts are stunningly accurate for up to 3 days ahead, and pretty reasonable for a week ahead. The Met Office doesn't get involved in forecasting for a whole season, so if you ever hear anyone say that it is going to be a such-and-such summer then you know they are pulling it out thin air.
On the subject of weather, though, I can't remember when we last had a decent August. They've been disappointing for at least the last 7 or 8 years. I also can't remember when we last had a frost before christmas, and winter is disappearing as autumn blends into an earlier and earlier spring.
I'll try.All rise.
.Fine morning, folks
Time to head out I think and get back in the rhythm
Enjoy your daykay:
Any further progress, or was it back to the drawing board(computer)?I've gone as far as I want for now. I have 3 rows of tiles against the house, with flashings, and the first ridge tile on. This means we can put scaffold on the battens for rendering off, without fear of breaking tiles.
