I only saw the engines in the Welshpool engine shed, and the one awaiting restoration at the Llanfair Careinion end, there was one built in Leeds for the Sierra Leone railway, just waiting to be restored.

With all the work going on Mrs B's confusion has lifted a notch - methinks it's going to seem like a longer day than normal.

Hi Classic, thanks for the thought. It's not so much the workmen but the results of the work. She walked into the kitchen last night and got confused about the bare walls as she couldn't remember us removing all the kitchen goods and the men stripping it down to the plaster. She also can't cope well with issues like the fact that the cups etc., are now to be found somewhere like on the dining room table even though she helped me put them there.

However, she's not as bad now as she was earlier as I have her sitting playing games and music on her laptop. It'll be later when she starts moving around that she may have problems again. This is now a somewhat typical day for me - just a bit magnified by the change in routine.
