it's been a wet night, 19 mm of rain fell since midnight.
Saw the rigged ship so stopped for to take a photo (no bike, shopping)

Take a bar of soap and a small amount of washing powder with you. Get the washing done whilst on the run.What's good about it...............raining all night and still rattling down.

You could have told him he was parked on the pavement, without the required signage and barriers in place, if he was refuelling. A "No Smoking" sign at the least.I was hoping the tanker would move for a full side on photo but bloke sleeping so didn't want to get thumped

after the rain finally stopped
and the Vuelta stage was over, I headed out on groundhog run.
I met an old workmate so spent too much time yakking and as I head back along the track the currant bun was dropping behind hills to the west.
Glad I got out...
Have to now catch up with Orla

I'd friends (I do have)who flew BA overnight last night to Cape Town, sat on the plane at heathrow, then it came over, the tannoy, eh, there is a delay, cue an oh sh*t, strike thought...
60 mins later up in the air, but tonight and tomorrow's flights cancelled...
anyhow good night...
