No wind problems round these parts. You're not overstating the problem are you?
That was a day that was..
had arranged a van rental, well known company....
first, the van was late but only 15 mins away..
our postcode problem popped up again, we weren't on their postcode list
we intended deposit by debit card, no good as it has to be by credit card due to postcode problem..
got another van locally..
double trip as well.....
all done now and nothing back through west..
sitting with lashings of ginger beer and Oaties..
feet up now

Good morning.

What are Oaties?
You shouldn't have asked..

They discontinued my last biscuit passion, Crumblebake Creams and then these doozies appeared..by Lidl and Aldi, I'm deep in my research to see if they are the same, it may take a millennia:laugh:
plus I found another of my old faves revived, what was originally Colman's French Mustard is now on sale at Morrison's as brand name French Mustard..(or pretty damn near)
Please someone somewhere Creamola Foam?...

Thanks Mo:hello:
The words
'We believe this product perfectly captures the classic taste! Try today for a blast from the past.'
I've a pal who wasn't convinced..
I can buy 9 packets of Oaties for that price (and change)
the recipe is out there..

On another funny note.
I was talking to a then local plod..
and showed the wet behind the ears lad a Chelsea Whopper..
He said ' You shouldn't have shown me that'
he thought it was a lump of hash:laugh:
We used to sit in shopping part of the town and wrap it up in cling film and throw it on the pavement and see how long it would stay there, and all sorts picked it up from young 'uns to OAPs...could just imagine their faces when the lighter was brought out:laugh::laugh:

£4 ?
aye, right..
I've got a bridge on the Forth for sale, anyone..
