Never really got going down here, rain aside. Started around 00:45, been at it since. Breezy, but nowt worse than yesterday.

Edited to add that NorthernPowerGrid have sent a text saying that the worst has yet to hit us.
There may be power losses later due to Barra, when it hits.

A warble noise so I tidied up one solder 'oops'
it lit up and powered up, volume worked but wouldn't tune to frequency,
Sat on 777777
I'm looking at the chip that is the radio one as I will have to remove it and redo it but its the only one that is surface mounted and spacing is tight,
I'm still getting power..
I'll have another go at removing the small board it is on later.
at the worst, I can pick up another chip if I've done that in,
the good thing is I've remembered how to use my multimeter

I've actually ditched my old Strava account in case you noticed I was MIA. My exercise has been so pathetic lately I'm embarrassed to put it on show. I've actually opened a new one just for my own recording and don't think I'll bother following or being followed by anyone. Less stress.

Got my round figure for the year but hopefully will get out soon,

I'd head 3 miles to the nearby bus builders, save any hassle...

There's "disaster"* due in from Russia this week. You'll be stuck unable to get out.
