Revisiting my old soldering skills..
a FM radio kit, all components now soldered on PCB so case and speaker to connect,
will it go bang?

You out ran them though, or headed for lower ground.

Did you use your new soldering iron, or the one that turned up once you'd replaced it?
Mains voltage, battery powered would just smoke.
I'll be watching, waiting...
The calm before the storm at present then. A decent five minute hail storm earlier. And that's it so far...

"Kapow", that's what I like. The trust a person has in their own work. When will we know if it's gone bang or kapow.
Wind has risen slightly down here. Leeds/Bradford will be fun if your flying in. Go-arounds are commonplace in windy weather. Usual divert is Manchester, but the M62 isn't the safest in windy weather.

Airline would have to pay the transfer costs for the passengers, plus fee's at both airports. Cheaper turn about and head back.
Can't be that cold, if the wind is blowing.

Your sure it couldn't be anything else other than an age thing.

The ice lollies should warm you up, the alcoholic drinks will cool you down. Nice balance there.

Never really got going down here, rain aside. Started around 00:45, been at it since. Breezy, but nowt worse than yesterday.

You after a few KOM's with a decent tailwind on offer.

Did it go "bang" or "kapow"?

Edited to add that NorthernPowerGrid have sent a text saying that the worst has yet to hit us.
There may be power losses later due to Barra, when it hits.

I've actually ditched my old Strava account in case you noticed I was MIA. My exercise has been so pathetic lately I'm embarrassed to put it on show. I've actually opened a new one just for my own recording and don't think I'll bother following or being followed by anyone. Less stress.
