New wooded area, just over the summit, someone had laid old bricks for quite a distance, poor man's Roubaix. There was industrial activity in years gone by. Forest/wood hiding a lot..

I've heard of shops selling odd things, but butts.

Old quarry, an old brick works plus more likely coal workings..
The old maps site I use has been boggered about with, for the worse....

NLS seem to have been jamming more on, overloading the options available of late.

For present day, I've the 2022 1:50000 Memory Map of the UK,
I don't do any hillwalking so downgraded from the 25000 but you can get 25000 if you look, snip tool on Windaes very handy

Last of the bedding plants gone to oldest daughters, mind u I had to plant them.
It was plugs I'd bought, eight weeks to a decent planting size but could have been put out earlier if needed.
Perennials to sort out now...

I can use GQ as the identifier in my radio callsign for the Plat Jub but causes too much logbook hassles, plenty using it...anyhow in my logging program it insists I'm English so no way hosey...

Bike wheels got a check over earlier after yesterday's bouncing about in the woods, a wee wash and go too.

Baseball early as last night's game postponed so start of a doubleheader.

For purely modern day stuff, I use the OS site, and screenshot an A4 sized area. Their site is free to view.

It's the older maps that are handy in working out where something was in today's terrain.

I hope supplies were supplied, in payment for the work done.

Use it just the once, just so you have it in your book. Be a while before there's another jubilee, especially a Platinum Jubilee.

I used GA which i cannot remember what it was celebrating,
I got three figures of contacts but it bogs up some logging sites....
First game and other on catchup,
first is 6.05 and other is 12.05...I think..
freezer drawer full of carrots, cones and lollies, no choc ices

Not much use if you can't remember why you were using it then.
Fully understand using multiple call codes mucking the system up.

Six hours per game!
No wonder they're at night, you can fall asleep in yer armchair.

No choc ice's! Is that down to bad planning or having eaten the few that were there. Either way, I'd stick with the frozen carrots, they'll last longer.
